What we need from you:

  • Cover page or Email-(preferred) with the defendants address, your address, picture,  make & model of car with license plate #s if you have it.
  • Your documents either faxed or Emailed-(preferred).
  • Payment sent either with your Legal documents or payment sent through our website tyegoetz.net on the rates page. You will click on the pay now button and it will take you to paypals website where you will have to type in the process service amount on the left side of the page and submit payment.
  • Then what!! We will confirm we have received your legal documents and payment through email once payment has been received.
  • Faxed process service documents will be scanned in to our database.
  • How long does it take!! Normal process service is 3 days unless there are extenuating circumstances. Ie - address is no good, holidays, unknown at address.
  • What happens after! When Legal service is effectuated we will produce our affidavit/proof of service for you. The Proof will outline the details of service and you will hand that over to the court.
  • What if  process service is not successful!! We will still produce a proof of service outlining why service was not successful, ie - homeless or unknown at address. Take the proof and hand this over to the court, then ask for alternative service.
  • What is Alternative service! Alternative service is service by publication or nailing on the front door and mailing to the last know address of the defendant.

Do I need a process server ? Yes
In order for service to be successful and your case not be dismissed due to logistical errors. All legal documents should be served by a Professional Process Server who is not a party to the case. Our team will gather all pertinent information from you and the specifics of your case & calendar. Once we have the details needed we will begin the process of research and begin the process of corroboration. After service has been effected we will produce a notarized proof of service which will then detail when service was effectuated and a 5 point physical description of the defendant. The proof will be sent to the local county clerk where it will reflect effective service as outlined in WA State legislation. Service generally will be done be at the home or normal gathering place of the defendant.  Our team will keep you informed through the entire process through email and text msgs or telecommunications."Yes." You should use a licensed, bonded and insured Seattle/Tacoma process server to serve your legal documents in order to have your case preserved, and not dismissed due to erroneous errors.

Does  a Process server need to be licensed !
A Seattle process server needs to be registered in WA State and should be licensed and insured to serve legal documents in Washington State. There are trespassing laws that forbade the serving on documents on private property, gated communities, and service of process on holidays. These constraints and requirements should be followed in order to serve documents correctly. We are a licensed bonded and insured company and 98% of all serves are successful! All of our process servers are knowledgeable in WA legislative process and proficient in serving legal documents. We are a local company and have been serving documents locally in Tacoma, Bremerton, Seattle and Olympia since 2007. If service is unsuccessful you will not be charged.

What is Service of process and how does it work !
Service of process is the serving of legal documents on a defendant in a court case; usually a summons and subpoena or a small claims case. Local state or county governments will issue documents to you, the plaintiff in your case and you will contact your local process server to have the document served. Once all pertinent information has been given to the process serving company we will do an IRB search (Skiptrace) to find the exact location of the defendants work or home. When a location has been established we will make 3 attempts at serving the defendant personally or through substituted service. When the legal documents have been served, we will fill out a Notarized affidavit of service or proof of service. Then the said affidavit of service will be filed with the appropriate County Clerk's Office or Courthouse at your discretion.
